Volunteer

Our volunteers serve as ambassadors of the organization, interacting with the public through museum exhibitions, events and programs. It’s a great way to connect to the community at large, and to get to know the American Chinese Community. 

We welcome passionate volunteers from all different backgrounds to join us and we will work to match our needs with your skills, experience, and areas of interest.

The American Chinese Museum is working closely with community partners, academic and educational organizations, cultural groups and corporations to develop initiatives.

Event Rental

The American Chinese Museum is located at 7345-47 Oxford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111, in a beautiful Victorian-era building which was listed on the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places. 

This Historical House was designed and built in 1898 by Mr. Horace Castor, and it was also the former residence building of Mr. Castor, who played a large role in the architecture and city planning of Philadelphia.

The Museum has both permanent exhibitions and a number of temporary exhibitions, events and programs. Private meetings and events can be customized to include any of the Museum’s spaces and guests can have full access to the Museum’s collections and experience. 

 The space in the Museum could be used for private events such as social gatherings, receptions, meetings, dinners, family reunions.
