Hollywood Movie Star Anna May Wong: First Chinese American on US Coin
November 12 - December 31
The name Anna May Wong may not mean much to you. However, Wong’s story—her passions, disappointments, aspirations, and search for identity—will resonate.
Discover Chinese American experiences during our Museum Talk Series events! In collaboration with local experts, these afternoon talks reveal Chinese American history, art, and culture from new perspectives with multimedia tools.
The US Mint just released a quarter-dollar coin for Anna May Wong on October 25. Anna May Wong became the first Chinese American and also the first Asian American to appear on US currency.
